Samsung R220

This was  one the first popular  phones launched by samsung in India. This went well in markets and i was lucky to have one in 8 months after the launch of the model in 2001. Samsung R220 was limelighte for its Blue lighting, and the Analog  clock display.. i stil rember a bear walking on the screen while the keypad is locked.. and also the led light on the top left of the phone keeps blinking and we have an option to customize the color of the led  to the contacts in our phone book... that was a new experience.. to check the group of caller from the pocket itself .. i rember i used to set red for my family and blue  for my friends..  

R220 provided a good battery back up. the design of the phone was accepted well that samsung continued releasing 4 more models of the same kind for the next 2 years.  In the future models the Antenna were  removed.. and was a perfect rectangle.was not happy by the way the silver color kept pealing off and samsung pane were expensive..

Siemens c35

Siemens c35 was an alternate phone i had when i was using moto.v70. this phone was a good phone with   a better reception and handy shape. the phone had a good battery back up.. and was a good pick for elder people as the keypad were spacious that they dial the desired number. I was not happy with its ringtone volume and the display size as it seemed to be crowded as a line or list type of menu display. The battery were smaller compared to previous Siemens models .

Motorola V70 / aura

 A very stylish phone from Motorola, this IS one of the unique phones i owned .. when design of the phones were given more focus than the feature It had. Introducing  Motorola V70. BLUE light display inside a stylish silver metal . the most beautiful is the revolving design     the way you  answer any call  is to turn the top portion of the phone in a circle .. just revolve it ... Hello Moto ...It was a real stylish model from moto.

The dumbbell shaped button was used for voice control and to use the menu of phone without opening it.
This model was later relaunched in 2008 by Motorola  as  AURA.

SONY J70

Launched in 2001 this was the first phone launched by Sony available In India.  i got this in exchange for my re modified 3310 i had. Sony J70 were rare to get and was an awesome pick to have.  I really loved the bubbly ringtone in it.. the first kinda polyphonic ringtones . and it also had the assign specific tones to contacts in  our phone book. The desighn contained a a volume up down tyre shaped button ( one seen on radios )  which was really a unique of its kind never found again on any of the models or brands ...really loved the phone .

NOKIA 3310 / 3315

Since i was not happy with the reception provided by the Panasonic gd55 .. i decided to change my phone and this time  i was really happy to have one of  the most successful model of Nokia the Handy Nokia 3310 .
personalized mono. ringotnes, User exchangeable front and back  colorful panels were it added advantage.
Nokia 3310 Usually comes with a  green light display. . i had a friend who is owning shop at my home town... he was a great help for my Interest in cell phones.. he designed me a 3310 in a unique pattern that no one else had. he replaced the led lights and ade it vright blue and gave its keypad white lighting and dressed it with a transparent pannel.. woww!! n tht was really sexy..
